Who Should Attend

This workshop is intended for individuals who are familiar with integrity management programs. Recent hires and staff recently given IMP responsibilities are welcome to attend this workshop, but should have a basic understanding of integrity management programs. Operations and maintenance engineers, senior technicians and regulatory compliance personnel responsible for aspects of their company's transmission integrity management program will find this workshop informative.

This workshop is brought to you by SGA and P-PIC. This workshop goes beyond understanding U.S. PHMSA IMP regulations and ASME B31.8S, Managing the Integrity of Gas Pipelines, and focuses on the future of IMP. Workshop instructors will provide an overview of IMP basics as well as regulatory requirements and processes. Instructors will then look specifically at the impact of IMP regulations that are on the horizon. This workshop also includes an interactive discussion centered around learning from past history and looking beyond.

  • Introduction to Integrity Management
  • PHMSA IMP Regulations
  • IMP Process Risk Analysis
  • IMP Process – Data Gathering & Risk Assessment
